Cinnamon Essential Oil is naturally high in eugenol, a phenolic compound known for its broad-spectrum antibacterial and antifungal properties. Eugenol works by disrupting microbial membranes and reducing inflammation, making this oil useful for air purification, immune support, and topical blends intended for occasional joint or muscle discomfort.

Traditionally, cinnamon has been used to stimulate circulation, ease minor aches, and provide a comforting heat when applied (always well diluted). Its warm scent is equally valued in diffusers, helping to reduce feelings of tiredness and mental fatigue, and enhancing focus and alertness during cold or sluggish periods.

It blends well with oils such as clove, orange, nutmeg, and cardamom for a balancing and warming synergy in seasonal blends or massage oils. Due to its potency, it should be used with care in topical preparations. Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil is a strong dermal irritant due to its high eugenol content.
